can be used very cost-effectively in drinking/potable
water and waste water treatment, water distribution and plumbing systems, and desalination.
Stainless steels can offer advantages over other materials in terms
of corrosion resistance without the need for coatings; very high water flow rates; weight saving; ease of fabrication and transport; recyclability. In turn these can
lead to long lives and low life cycle costs. Metal leaching into the
water is extremely low.
