德国钢铁创新奖七个奖项均包含不锈钢制品。

镍杂志 2006 年7月 -- 德国钢铁创新奖每三年颁发一次，2006年共有620个产品参加评比。该奖的主要目的是鼓励使用各种钢制品，14个奖项分为五大类：建筑、楼房和结构、钢的设计、研发、钢产品的改进和新应用，以及中小企业特别奖。
七个奖项均以不锈钢为特色
- 装饰用的双壳“单凹面”燃油焰台，德国Mono公司选送，公司地址：Industriestrasse 5 D-40822 Mettmann,Germany
- 豪华浴室淋浴器，德国Aloys F, Dombracht GmbH & Co. KG公司选送，公司地址：Koppingser Muhle 6, D-58640 Iserlohn, Germany
- 覆盖在建筑外立面丝网织物 “传媒网”，（由于有集成发光二极管），改变颜色或信息，远距离都能看到，德国GKO-Gebr. Kufferth AG公司选送，公司地址：Metallweberstrasse 46, D-52353 Duren, Germany。
- 柴油汽车微粒过滤器(利用不含镍的铁素体耐热钢)
- 车轮“连续支撑环”，使汽车在轮胎瘪了的情况下还能行驶一段距离。
- 水井立管简易快速接头，Beckert Brunnentechnik GmbH公司选送，公司地址：Industrieweg 11, D99734 Nordhousen, Germany
2006年1月22日在德国埃森Phillharmonic大厅举行了盛大的2006年德国钢铁制品创新奖颁奖仪式。颁奖仪式由宝时捷公司首席执行官Wendelin Wiedenking先生主持。
