How To View 'Good Practices' Off Line
To view the 'Good Practices' presentation off line, follow these steps:
1. Download the self-extracting executable file (5 MB) by clicking here.
2. Run the self-extracting executable file named "NIGoodPracticesModule.exe" to install the module files. By
default, the module files will be installed in a folder at C:\Nickel_Institute\
(Note: You may specify an alternate folder for installation of the module files clicking the browse button and navigating to the desired folder on your computer.)
3. Click the Unzip button to begin installing the module files.
4. A message window will appear when the file installation has been completed successfully. Click the OK button to confirm installation.
5. Click the close button to complete the installation.
6. Start your web browser
7. Open the file named "index.html" located in the folder where the module files were installed. By default this, folder is located at C:\Nickel_Institute\
8. This step is optional: A shortcut named "Nickel Institute - Good Practices" is located in the folder where the module files were installed. This shortcut can be copied to your desktop and used to start the Good Practices module.
