| Founded in 1994, the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) is a non-profit public service organization that recycles nickel-cadmium rechargeable batteries -- the ones typically found in power tools, cordless and cellular phones, and camcorders. RBRC is dedicated to educating rechargeable power makers, resellers and users in North America about the benefits and accessibility of nickel-cadmium battery recycling and to implement recycling programs where none exist. RBRC and its partners are significantly reducing the amount of nickel-cadmium that enters the solid waste stream. Whether you are a battery manufacturer, battery reseller, retailer, community recycling coordinator, public agency, or concerned consumer, RBRC welcomes you to participate in their Charge Up to Recycle! program. | |
