Nickel stainless steel sculpture shows Chicago in a brilliant light 

Nickel Magazine, December 2007 -- Cloud Gate, created by Anish Kapoor, is a brilliant example of the mirror finish that is possible when using nickel-containing stainless steel S31600. Located in Chicago’s downtown Peace Park, the sculpture consists of 168 plates of low sulphur S31600 meticulously welded together to form a ‘jelly bean’ shape. The welds were polished smooth to make them near invisible.
